Little Hearts

Little Hearts are in between the toddler and preschool age where they are developing many skills in different areas. You’ll notice that your older toddler is becoming more adept at the gross and fine motor skills they developed as Young Hearts. They are also beginning to learn and practice new skills. Your child will start learning and discovering new things around them and start experimenting with new ways to perform familiar tasks and activities. At this age, your child will start to become more verbal and expressive and their comprehension of verbal will start to increase. This is a transitional time for your child, as they become more independent.

The curriculum for your child is delivered within a play-based format and integrates all areas of development including social-emotional, physical, language, cognitive, literacy, mathematics, science and technology, social studies and the arts within the daily classroom routine and structure along with following the The Creative Curriculum®.
